The project “Watchers” developed from traveling through Bolivia, Chile, Kirgizstan and Switzerland and observation of those striking landscapes. The vastness of the landscapes is overwhelming next to inconspicuous human figure. The silhouettes’ shift in scale gives a completely new dimension to the landscape.
Alexandra Polyakova
Alexandra is an architect and photographer based in Berlin. Born in Odessa Ukraine. Studied architecture at the University of the Fine Arts Berlin and at the Academy of fine arts in Vienna. Alexandra currently works as an interior Architect in Berlin. She is interested in a visual approach of photography and the relation between human and the environment.
